The Day

Hi everyone!

We are very excited to see you all very soon! Thank you for coming to our wedding.
We wanted to be in touch with everyone with some final details. For those of you travelling by ferry, it’s best to make a reservation beforehand to avoid multi-sailing waits! You can reserve on bcferries.com. You can travel from Vancouver at Horseshoe Bay (shortest) or Tsawwassen – both go to Nanaimo.  If you’re arriving at our tiny airport in Comox, it’s easy to get around via cab. There should be some available at the airport

We are having a fun get-together at the Griffin Pub on Friday, September 9th, at 6:30pm. The address is 1185 Kilmorley Road in Comox. Our ceremony will be on Saturday, September 10th, at 2:00pm at the Old Church Theatre in Courtenay. The address is 755 Harmston Avenue. There is lots of parking available close by as
well as downtown Courtenay off of 5th street.

Our reception will be at Native Sons Hall in Courtenay at 6:00pm. The address is 360 Cliffe Avenue. There is a parking lot outside the hall as well, lots of street parking on 4th and 5th Street, as well as below the hall at the Florence Filberg Centre (all of which is free!) We will be having dinner around 6:45pm catered by the always fabulous 4 Quarters in Cumberland. At the reception, we have wine at the table for you to enjoy. If you would like other options, we have curated another wine list (some of our favourites!), beer from Edmonton and Comox, as well as spirits and mixers. These will be a loonie/drink – we will have tickets available for the bar. Tips
for our bartenders are welcome and appreciated. After dinner, there will be great music and dancing! If you would like, please download the Jukestar Guest app to use at the reception – you’ll be able to make song requests directly from you phone. We will also have some folks to help out with song requests if we face some technical challenges.

Finally, if you’re able to stay for our recuperation brunch, it will be on Sunday, September 11th, at 10:00am at White Spot in Courtenay (2299 Cliffe Avenue).
For our out-of-town guests, here are some of our favourite local spots to check out should you have some time!

Our Plan

Our plan is simple.  We want to spend a special day with all of you.  We will eat, drink, and be merry.
